The Jeffery Isaiah David Memorial Foundation, Inc. (JIDMF) was founded by his family to honor the memory and legacy of his life as a son, brother, friend, father, and soldier in the U.S. Army. His spunk, charisma, and energy fueled his competitive nature to keep up with his three older brothers. His young life left an indelible memory and influence on many.
Born in Clinton, Maryland, his family moved to Smithfield, North Carolina in 2005, where he graduated from Cleveland High School. At a young age he began participating in the Smithfield Parks and Recreation sports programs, playing baseball, football, and basketball.
The JIDMF embraces several GUIDING PRINCIPALS: Educating, Empowering, and Assisting our youth, and young adults. Also, supporting single fathers.
We aim to provide mentoring programs, scholarship opportunities, and community resources to support them, as they live, work, and mature to make an impact in their local community and around the world.
