ABOUT US

     The Jeffery Isaiah David Memorial Foundation, Inc. (JIDMF) was founded by his family to honor the memory and legacy of his life as a son, brother, friend, father, and soldier in the U.S. Army. His enthusiasm, charisma, and energy fueled his competitive spirit, allowing him to keep up with his three older brothers. His young life left a lasting impact on many.

      Born in Clinton, Maryland, he moved with his family to Smithfield, North Carolina, in 2005, where he participated in the Smithfield Parks and Recreation sports program, playing baseball, football, and basketball. He continued to develop his skills by playing with several AAU basketball teams and was eventually recruited to play shooting/point guard for Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC. 

     He graduated from Cleveland High School in Johnston County. He was ranked #1 in Division 3A (Two Rivers Conference) in steals, averaging 4.8 steals per game. (2014-2015) His faith drove him to remain steadfast in using his talents and gifts.

     The GUIDING PRINCIPALS of Educating, Empowering, and Assisting youth and young adults align with our personal mission. 

     We award scholarships, organize community service opportunities, and host youth mentoring sessions to support them as they live, work, and mature to make an impact in their local community and around the world.
