The JIDMF recognizes that attending college is a significant step toward achieving your academic and career goals.
Scholarships are awarded twice a year to graduating high school seniors and continuing education students. This application period is specifically for Graduating High School Seniors who plan to enroll for the first time in the Fall 2026 semester.
Applicants must have demonstrated community service, leadership, and academic excellence and be accepted, enrolled, and classified as undergraduate students in a degree or certificate program at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States.
HOW TO APPLY:
ONLINE - April 1-15th - (11:59 EST)
ELIGIBILITY:
- Graduating High School Senior
- GPA of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale
REQUIREMENTS:
-Copy of high school transcripts
-College acceptance letter
- Two letters of recommendation. (Letters accepted from a high school teacher, counselor, principal, pastor, employer, or community leader.)
-Submit a written essay (400-500 words) or a 3-5 minute video on the prompt listed in the application.)
Please ensure that all required documents are submitted by the deadline. Late applications will not be considered; no exceptions will be made.
NOTIFICATION OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:
Check your emails regularly in case additional information is requested. Applicants will be notified via email if selected for an award by May 29th.
A scholarship announcement ceremony will take place on June 13th via Zoom. Recipients will be emailed a link to attend and share with family and friends.
